Apartment P

One of the oldes houses in the vilage of Vuno. The main purpose od the space was for keeping the animals and giving them food. After many years being abandoned the owner decided to make it livable. Here as you can see it all about adoptation and reconstruction of the space. When it comes to Arcitecturas, a space in wich to live and work moves to a reflection on the processes behind the creative and the everyday, as well as the transfers between the two, at all times we wanted to avoid ceasuras, although the duality was clear, we opted for open space in the areas of tangency. For this purpose this interior turns out to be the ideal combination between the old and the new. The rounded tunnel that shows the ceiling and the walls as one represents an old technique that is made by stones that keep eachother alive for a very long time.

Our main idea was to keep the beauty of the structure and combine it with new elements that can make the space very rear example of longelivity and timless design. Every furniture is custom made and adopted to the configuration of the space itself. It was our pleasure to work on a project that makes the desing think about the past and how it can be engaged with the new that means a totally different approach when it comes to the material use, way of living and how the people precieve it. The visualisation part helped the Arcitectura to come with the final idea so the next stage could be starting the realization of the project.
